Anonymous asked: What do I do if I know I'm a lesbian, but I don't like saying, "I'm a lesbian " or. struggle when people ask "Are you lesbian? " I mean, I know I'm a lesbian, I just don't know why it feel so weird and I stuggle with that word.

I like to say gay better. You could also say queer. I actually came out to my best friend by saying “I don’t think I am straight” which avoided all of the above. Maybe it feels weird because being called a “lesbian” is often a negative thing.
